Jessica has over seven years of litigation experience from her time as a public defender. During her career she not only represented clients in criminal proceedings, but also gained experience in the area of mental health by representing clients in conservatorship matters. She brings to her work a passionate attention and ardent consideration for each of her cases. Jessica prides herself in providing unwavering advocacy that remains sensitive to the individual needs of her clients.

  • Jessica is a native Illinoisan who has spent much of her life in Texas and California. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin before heading west for law school, where she earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law. At Santa Clara, Jessica was awarded a grant for public interest work, represented clients in the school's immigration clinic, and served as Articles Editor for the Law Review.

  • She lives in Southern California with her husband and dog, where she spends each morning traversing the local, urban lagoon and tending her backyard, vegetable garden.
